Krakow Declaration on Iodine presentation meeting

To achieve the greatest impact in mobilising support for its outcomes, EUthyroid presented a declaration to call on policy makers, public health officials, scientists and the general public to join forces to ensure that IDD prevention strategies are implemented across Europe to reach and secure a sufficient iodine status. The meeting to present the Krakow Declaration Meeting on iodine was held on Wednesday 18th April, 2018 at the Collegium Medicum / Collegium Novodvorscianum, Jagiellonian University, Poland.

EUthyroid Policy Meeting – Brüssel

Am 28. April 2016 organisierte EUthyroid in Brüssel ein Treffen mit Interessengruppen, um die Harmonisierung der Iodmangel-Präventionsprogramme in Europa zu diskutieren. Präsentationen von Projektpartnern Henry Völzke, John Lazarus und Rodrigo Moreno-Reyes fassten die Ziele von EUthyroid zusammen und wiesen auf die unbefriedigende Situation in Europa hin.

EUthyroid Policy Meeting – Brussels

EUthyroid held a policy meeting in Brussels on April 28 2016, in order to promote harmonisation of iodine deficiency (ID) prevention programmes in Europe. Presentations from Henry Völzke, John Lazarus and Rodrigo Moreno-Reyes summarised the aims of EUthyroid, the current iodine status in Europe and a review of ID from the past to the present.
